Sifu Phil Romero on Reviving Wing Chun in 2018

Sifu Romero began martial arts at the age of 14, studying Northern Shaolin and TaiChi in Albuquerque, NM. After high school, he moved to Culver City, Los Angeles to pursue a career in the film industry. There, he met Grandmaster Hawkins Cheung, a childhood friend of Bruce Lee and Ip Man’s most senior US student.

I absolutely loved this interview with Sifu Romero and especially the wisdom he shared about being a part of your students lives and shedding the ‘Teacher/Master’ persona so that you may connect with people on a deeper level.
